Elizabeth P. Vazquez

Elizabeth Pearl Vazquez, entered into rest on December 23, 2009. She was born in Sacramento, Califonria on November 8, 1929. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Earl and Leona Vincent, her brother Ross Vincent and her granddaughter, Melissa Davis. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leo Vazquez, her sister, Ruth Mae Deener, her sons, Earl and Rusty and her daughters, Vivian and Lisa as well as eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was highly devoted to her family. As the children grew and each chose a direction in life, she devoted her life to their cause and activities. She would join committees to get involved to help them do well. While her husband was in the military, she was very active working with other children, as well as volunteering to work in the hospitals. She presided as Wives Club President at two different Air Force bases. We will always remember her and miss her very much. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 West Oaklawn Road, Pleasanton from 9:00AM -11:45AM on Saturday, January 2, 2009. A rosary and funeral mass will follow the visitation at Noon on Saturday, January 2, 2009 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton.
