 Gilbert G. Uribe, age 67, of Poteet, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010, in San Antonio, Texas.  He is survived by his wife Rosa (Rodriguez) Uribe; sons, Jeffery Uribe & wife Tracie and Chris Uribe both of Poteet.  He is also survived by his sisters, Josephine Espinoza & husband Marcelo of San Antonio, Mary Jane Carr & husband Bill of Dallas, Margaret Perez & husband Hector of San Antonio; brothers, Fernando Uribe of Poteet and Denez Uribe of Dallas and his two grandchildren Cameron and Hailey.  Mr. Uribe is preceded in death by his parents Demetrio C. and Antonia (Guzman) Uribe and sister, Rosalie Uribe. Visitation is being held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, Texas, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 PM Monday, January 18, 2010.  Funeral service will be at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2010.  Interment will be at Madre Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery in Poteet, Texas.
