 Clara L. Penley, age 100, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010, in Pleasanton, Texas.  She is survived by her close special friends, Daylon & Jean Shearrer, Keith Shearrer and Kelly Shearrer & Karen.  She is also survived by nieces & nephews.  Mrs. Penley is preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Penley; parents, Naupha Jackson & Nancy Elizabeth (Pickett) Harris; sisters, Andy Weaver, Dorothy Myrtle Greenmyer and Mary Forthman as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2010.  Funeral service will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2010.  Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero, Texas.  Anyone wishing to leave their condolences for the family may do so at www.hurleyfuneralhome.com
