Johnny P. Gallegos, Sr., age 47, of Pleasanton, Texas passed away Thursday, February 28, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas.  He is survived by his father, Alfredo Gallegos of Floresville; mother, Mary Serna Russell of El Reno, Oklahoma and his sons, John Phillip Gallegos, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Portland and James Gallegos of Pleasanton.  He is also survived by his brothers, Joe Fred Gallegos and David Gallegos both of San Antonio; granchildren, Marlena Gallegos, Alex Gallegos, David Gallegos and John Phillip Gallegos, III and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his ex-wife, Martha Garcia of Pleasanton.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Gallegos.  Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 West Oaklawn Road, Pleasanton from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening.  The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton.
